Imagine in Clay
Kids love clay. It's a magical medium with endless possibilities. Now in its 25th year, this engaging summer program provides a great opportunity to spend a week exploring the world of clay and glazes.
Camp meets in a spacious light-filled Berkeley ceramics studio with a focus on process and learning new skills. We'll have fun creating in a relaxed environment making sculpture and functional work. Each week is limited to a small group with a maximum of seven campers. The camp works well for for both beginners and more advanced students. Though we'll mostly be working with wet clay, materials such as wood, metal, or tile may also be included. Your child's imagination will be stimulated through both structured projects and independent work.
During breaks kids will eat and play under the shade of a beautiful oak tree.

"This a unique and sweet and wonderful camp. My daughter has been attending Dianne's summer camp for years. It's the place she always asks to go. I've never asked her why because it seems too obvious to me. Dianne is so kind and has an earnest love and enthusiasm for kids' artistic expression. To my daughter, working with clay is just something that makes her feel happy. I attribute this to Dianne Stockler!"
